Uniform

It is not necessary to wear a uniform for class rehearsals however there are some guidelines as below. We do offer t-shirts and hoodies to wear during performances and in class if you wish.

Street Jazz/totz

For street jazz classes we ask that children have bare feet or dance shoes. Children are asked to wear anything comfortable for rehearsals such as joggers or leggings with a suitable t-shirt.

Cheerleading

Light footwear must be worn such as pumps. All cheerleaders must have a Sylk Cheer uniform, however this can be rented or bought.

Breakdance

Trainers should be worn with comfortable clothing.

ZUMBA

Trainers should be worn with comfortable, cool clothing. Always bring something to drink and a small towel.

For all dance classes we provide our own Sylk Dance Academy t-shirts in black which are to be worn for performances.

We also provide Hoodies for all groups. A price list for all items is below.

Street Totz: White Zip up hoodie
Street Jazz/Cheerleading: Grey hoodie
Street Crew: Purple hoodie
Breakdance: Black hoodie

All children’s hoodies (up to age 11) are £21
All children's hoodies (up to age 13) are £21 except for purple hoodies which are £24

T-shirts: Black
All t-shirts (up to age 11) are £13
All t-shirts aged 12+ (Small, Medium, Large) are £15
